Seafarers Second Most Likely To Die From Alcohol

Male seafarers are the second most likely  group to die of alcohol-related diseases, according to a new study of more than 13,000 deaths  by the UK’s Office of National Statistics. Alcohol relasted dearths have doubled since 1991.

Says the study, male seafarers are more than twice as likely to die of alcohol-related disease, such as cirrhosis ofthe liver and pancreatitis.
