Maritime Podcasts and Britney Spears’s Knickers

Maritime podcasts are as rare as glimpses of Britney Spears’s knickers so we’re happy to tell you about a new one from our good friend John Konrad of gCaptain.

You’ll find the first 40 minute episode of Messing About In Ships here in which John and friend Peter Mello of Seafever Consulting cover current events like the Cosco Busan allision, the death of Laura Gainey, the sinking of the Explorer.

Go check it out. It’s easier to find and more fun than you-know-who’s unmentionables.

  3. Wow, thanks Bob. I never would have thought that my name would appear in the same post as a mention of Britney Spears’ knickers. This is a professional highwater mark for Sea-Fever and we are all taking the day off in celebration!

Seriously, thanks for the mention of our new collaboration with John Konrad of http://gCaptain.com. We are trying to make the Messing About In Ships podcast entertaining and educational for professional mariners and enthusiasts alike.

I’m a big fan of your MAC podcasts and have been promoting them in the side bar at http://sea-fever.org ever since I became aware of them earlier this year.

Keep up the great work and thanks again for the plug!
