Watch Out For The Lunatic Lunar Antics

Anyone familiar with New Year’s Eve in the Philippines, and the fireworks, gunfire and heavy ack-ack, knows that the best place to be is in a bunker deep underground. It might not be the only place to steer clear of as this posting  from Dennis Bryant at Holland + Knight  suggests:

Hong Kong – Lunar New Year fireworks display

The Hong Kong Marine Department issued a notice reminding the maritime community that the Central Harbor in the area off Wan Chai will be closed between 1400 hours and 2300 hours on Friday, 8 February for a fireworks display celebrating the Lunar New Year.  Notice No. 24 of 2008 (1/30/08).
