Thanks to some great fellow bloggers like John Konrad, Robin Storm, Fred Fry and Captain Peter Boucher the word is getting around about the confined space entry study and the confidential reporting system. Thanks to all of them, and if you haven’t cheked out their sites, do so.
Peter brings up a particularly interest matter of concern: incidents aboard yachts.
On his blogsite, Peter’s editorial notes: “On reading this it occured to PETERS POINTS that if this apparent poor reporting occured amongst regular professional seafarers, who are well supported by the IMO, National Maritime Authorities, and the Seafarers Professional Organizations, what must the situation be like in the yachting industry. Where without doubt in addition to confined space incidents there are many others also going unreported.”
Worth thinking about.
