    Bob. Enjoyed the read regarding this incident and its contributory factors. I would also like to draw your attention to our lifeboat release gear system ‘Safelaunch’ which has been designed to address the issues of accidental release and to entirely negate the possibility of it. It has also been designed so as to remove the needs for critical tolerances between the hook tail and the cam, is manufactured from stainless steel to avoid the effects of corrosion and can fully demonstrate its safe condition without personnel entering the lifeboat.
